3 Web Applications To Manage your Twitter Lists

by Kyle on December 1, 2009

It’s been a while since I posted a twitter article in my blog. I’ve been less active with my twitter account so it’s been a while since I twitted some personal stuff in my account. Twitter List is a relatively new feature implemented by twitter at the time of this writing. Even though it’s new there are some applications out there that supports twitter list management. it If you’re a twitter hardcore user looking for web applications to help you sort and manage your long lists then have a look at some of the tools currently available around.

  1. ListiMonkey is an application which alerts you when one of the accounts in your list twits something based from the keywords you provided in the filter form. There’s no need for signups or any registration, just input your email, keywords to filter and the list or contact you want to be alerted to. Alerts can be configured to be delivered in a hourly or daily rate. There’s also a badge where you can use to promote your list.
  2. For making fast twitter list, Listomatic is such an incredible tool in making twitter list a breeze. The drag and drop feature and the expandable view mode is a perfect substitution for the very limiting default window of twitter. You just have to be aware of the toggle command when switching selection mode since most users would probably miss it and have the idea that Listomatic is not working.
  3. For a fine collection of twitter list in the web Listorious is a good place to look at. You can also use Listorius as a search engine tool and List Promotion. The Homepage displays a category of topics with the top twitter list in each hub. There’s also a showcase for the top 140 most listed People and top 140 list available in twitter. I think Listorious combined with the two List management Tools above is a great combination if you’re doing some data mining activity.
