Bing’s Mobile version optimized for Touch Screen Devices

by Kyle on October 30, 2009

Microsoft’s Bing now has a mobile counterpart. Users can now experience simple functionality of a mobile search lite similar to bing which is optimized for smart phones. The interface looks really neat and is definitely perfect for small and big fingers for smart browsing. You can set up the search settings options for safe searching to easily filter sexually explicit text and images.

For some reasons the only devices that work with it are the iPhone/iPod Touch, T-Mobile G1, Samsung Omnia, Verizon Imagio and the Zune Hd. Support for other phones is still not available but are now in the process for porting in other devices. Take note that touch interface is only available to users in U.S.

I use Bing and Google whenever i want to find something on the internet. I think that both search engines are very good. :

It is interesting to compare the performance of Bing and Google search but i haven’t seen any difference at all in their performance. **
