Anyway the video was pure awesomeness, it’s trailer is something more than just an eye candy. Although for some of you who prefers FPS and hardcore 3d action then this might seem disappointing to you. But for some who loves old school gaming then this is like triple layer pizza with overloaded toppings coupled with premium cheeze. What’s interesting in the trailer is the combo and stats buildup which is integrated with the character. The mixup of  arcade and mmorpg elements is a great combination for extra fun. I think gamers who experienced grand chase and other mmorpg sidescrollers will give this game a shot. And have you noticed the vehicles? Gigantous and flashy! Let’s just see what giga slave in real action once it hits global.

Top rated anime bakemonogatari now have it’s prequel “Kizumonogatari” getting animated. The long term wait for fans waiting for the series has finally ended, yet another wait for it’s adaptation of the best selling novel. The date is not yet announced but the confirmation is real. Aya Hirano will be the one voicing for the loli-vampire Oshino Shinobu.

Fans waiting for Bakemonogatari 2 might be upset to know that the story behind Kizumonogatari is set before Hitagi and Araragi’s meet ups. But fairly good to know for the fans to have a greater understanding of what the relationship of the two novel’s relay. Kizumonogatari’s opening may still be ahead so for others who have not yet watched the anime(bakemonogatari), then you can look for an anime store now for the DVD offerings and grab a copy now. The anime is really great as the characters have such great personalities better watch it now guys. ^^

August 11,2010 sets the start date for the hit anime mmorpg Grand Fantasia in Portuguese. The game’s highlights of cute and animeish characters targets hardcore mmo-gamers and anime fans for the coming release which is not yet available for download in the main site except for those select few who’s eager to participate in the CBT. Although the game has it’s global version, aeria made a sub category for portugese players( are they really bad in English) on which they can probably have a good market for the mmo.

The game’s like a classic mmo comparable to Fiesta Online, FlyFF and other F2p mmorpgs but with the added twists. Visiting to the portuguese site is very similar to the global aeria hub so if you’re interested in playing for this version then you can just do a click and match. So far the character classes are comprehensive, let’s just see what portuguese fans have to say when they tasted what Grand Fantasia Experience is all about.

It’s hard to tell on when will facebook implement their new line of photo tagging which automatically tags your friends in your picture. Facebook’s photo tagging  is one of the most used feature on their platform. Power users who maintains large collection of albums will be happy if facebook’s new line of photo product is successful on it’s release. If you’re part of the group which owns large albums this will be good news for you as this will decrease the tedious amount of time in tagging names in pictures.

I just wonder what privacy measures will d implement if ever their product under test will be successful. It will of course generate positive feedback but for some users who values their private life then this is a big factor. Anyway Facebook is smart enough on dealing this concerns but imperfections can’t be avoided. If you are techy enough on how the system works then it’s not a problem for you. But for people who hardly knows how to use user settings then it’s a big problem for them. Let’s just see how facebook’s photo tagging matures and see what people’s reaction are.

Update: Just discovered a new problem… I’m receiving 0 visits when using this theme but when I change my theme it returns back to normal so I’ll not use my own custom theme until i fully fix the problem

If you’re reading this article then you’ll be seeing a major difference in Technokyle’s look. Although digital nature’s mystique theme looked really good in my blog, I have to make a signature by making my very own custom theme. It took me 4 drafts in what kind of theme color and site layout I’ll be using and I’m fully satisfied now with it’s simplistic and semi-professional feel.

I’ve enjoyed a lot designing my theme and I have to give a thousand “thank yous” to Small Potato’s well written guide in making WordPress theme. It’s very brief and straight to the point, perfect for newbies and starters who don’t have experience in making a WordPress theme. Making a WordPress theme is really easy if you just want to have a theme with basic functionality . But if you’ll be working with a theme for public release then you have to dig deeper with wordpress codex.I’m planning to release a wordpress theme for the public so I’ll be busy again for the coming weeks.

I’ll be updating some blog elements and details like  in depth description with my about page,blog policies and pages. For the readers of my blog I have to say thanks for the time spent reading my articles. I’ll be working hard with more SEO work and Quality Articles. I’m still bad with my grammar but I think I’ve improved a lot compared to my previous works. 1. Twitter – Social Networking websites are hit in the Philippines. Believe it or not most of Friendster users are now migrating to Facebook and it’s a possibility that Twitter will be a bigger hit than those two. The reason is that Friendster and Facebook are mostly dependent in the internet. Without internet connection you can never use one, although mobile connectivity is possible, you’ll still be spending a couple of cash and a 3G enabled phone to enjoy social networking goodness. Twitter in contrary relies on two things, Internet and mobile connection. The fact that Twitter has been long used here and is still thriving despite it’s simplicity, is a miracle. Most people here in the Philippines have a cellphone and if only Mobile Support for Twitter is implemented, it will be a sure hit. But well, most people will be bragging for the unlimited texting services to make twitter #1.
2. Netbooks – I know I know netbooks are popular now but laptops are much popular isn’t it?. More Filipinos are getting their own laptops but most of them do not fully use their potential. I’ve seen several students used their laptops for playing facebook games and casual internet surfing. Isn’t that a job of a netbook?, What I mean is that netbooks is much suited for that kind of work. Netbooks are getting powerful these days and they are much lighter and can sustain an 8+ hours of battery life. If you own a laptop I know that you’re straining your shoulders carrying those babies. For sure you’ll realize owning a netbook will just do the work.
3. Facebook Games – Facebook is popular but farmville is much popular here in the philippines. This 2010 expect that competition in facebook games will be intense. I’m not a fan of farmville and other facebook games but I really love the platform and the dynamic status updates. It’s sad though that more people are getting hook with the games and they keep clogging my notifications and request box with spam.
4. Blogspot – Multiply is still the #1 blogging platform in the philippines but once they get educated on how they can earn money with blogging then perhaps a shift to blogspot is inevitable. Of course a self-hosted wordpress blog is the best choice but when it comes to easy and free choice, blogspot is unbeatable.

URL shortening services are one of the places where hackers and malicious users take advantage in spreading havoc. Malwares and phising sites are now that common since URL shortening services have spread. Even so, Google and Facebook will have their own URL shortening service which is good news for users who’s suspicious given a shortened url to click. The service is not mature enough but it’s in good shape, ready to be tested in the future.

Update: Feedburner’s Socialize service utilizes Goo.gl url shortening service which you can find in the publicize tab where you can update your twitter account once you made a new post.

Google’s Goo.gl focuses mainly in 3-S namely Stability, Security and Speed. The name Goo.gl is really catchy but it’s not in the mood for full use. At this moment, Goo.gl is only for use in google products which is quite a dissapointment when I visited the site. There’s only an introduction of what the service is without any instructions or  taste of the service. Anyway I’m still looking forward to this. On the other side, Facebook’s URL shortening service, FB.me is working for the mobile version of the site. An attempt to log using FB.me in the address bar will only give you a a redirection to the main site.  It’s still in testing though but it’s a big help if Facebook will fully implement this in the future.

Just when I logged in my facebook account a new window appeared to inform me of the new update of facebook’s privacy settings. Although I don’t express my thoughts openly on facebook, I know that Facebook’s privacy settings have deep issues. But I think the new update of Facebook might give the users some assurance.

The cropped image above is a snapshot of how you can arrange the level of security of which information you want to be filtered with your friends or anonymous users.  You’ll be given a choice if you want to retain the old setting or you want to implement an added layer of  security. Anyway before I forget if you’ll be posting some status updates, you can check out another security option near the share button which enables you to select who can view your status post updates. There’s the customize option which makes it easy for you to select who can read the update and who can’t read it.

Facebook Connect lets third party web sites access Facebook user data and site features, like sharing activity from other sites to its news feed home page — the idea is that Connect helps other sites get more social, and drives traffic between them and Facebook. For MySpace, as with any other web site, integration with Connect does not necessarily mean there is any special business relationship with Facebook.

Although Myspace states that there’s no special business relationship with Facebook, we can clearly see that MySpace is in the verge of accepting defeat with it’s new vision of being more like a social entertainment.
