Megavideo has interesting archives of good videos to keep users motivated in registering in their premium accounts since a time cap of 72 minutes is very limiting for the free account. Of course if you are smart enough there are some tricks and cheats that you can use to bypass the irritating time limit. There are working methods for some but Megavideo is smart enough to notice that.

I’ll teach you some of the methods that work. First the very classic way of logging offline and playing the videos. If you don’t know it yet here’s a step by step instruction to pull off this trick.

1. Locate your megavideo url and start playing the video
2. After playing the video you chose hit the pause button and let the buffering complete
3. When it’s complete buffering, disconnect in the internet
4. Enjoy the movie.

This trick doesn’t work at all times but if you’re lucky enough then you can view more movies bypassing the 72 minute time cap.  There’s also another trick to bypass the mega video time limit and it’s much simpler than the previous method. All you have to do is to get the mega video url and log into megastream which gives you an extra 134 minutes to complete a 2 hour movie. Just look for this part of the site

and input the url and you are ready to go. Most people overlook this one and they jump out of the network easily. They should be reworking in their interface since this part of the site is kinda hard to spot.
