How to send encrypted emails and messages online

Sending encrypted message over the internet through emails or any other means adds another layer of security to keep your private data secure. If you’ll be sending passwords, credit card numbers or just plain password in the internet is not that safe using normal means. Emails provide you a level of security by providing users a password to open their inbox but it’s much safer if you’ll be sending encrypted message as an extra precaution if sensitive data are involved. Here’s how you can send encrypted emails and messages over the internet easily.

Lockbin is an application which makes it easy for you to send encrypted email without any programming experience. Encryption is what they’re good at and you won’t be messing with algorithms or any mathematically involved equations in making an encrypted email. All you have to do is to fill out the forms needed like name, email and most importantly the password which holds the key to open your message. Your message will automatically be deleted after six months if it’s not opened and will be deleted immediately in their database if your recipient has opened it.

norbt's management capability

Another good alternative to Lockbin is Norbt. Norbt stands for “No robot” and it works perfectly like Lockbin. The process of sending encrypted messages using norbt is pretty similar to lockbin. But Norbt has a simpler interface in writing your messages, it doesn’t include a wysiwyg editor like Lockbin has. One of the main difference in Norbt is that your encrypted message will not be directly sent to the recipient’s email. Instead, it’s much more public by giving you a link which contains your message, unlockable only if they know the answer to the secret question. Unlike Lockbin, you can update the page given to you and change the data anytime you want. It has a management option which Lockin lacks.
