HTC Flyer gets a nasty youtube video
by Kyle on March 31, 2011
Update 06/22/2011: HTC Flyer is now officially available in the Philippines.
HTC’s specialty was on smartphone (HTC ChaCha) but getting on tablet market was not really a bad idea specially when they crafted promising tablets like this HTC Flyer. I’m not that interested at first but the video you’ll see is compelling enough to make you think twice. I’ve always been a netbook fan cause it’s the perfect tool that fits on my job but getting a tablet for it’s superb portability is not a bad idea after all.
Guess their biggest mistake on releasing this tablet is not honeycomb ready so most viewers who’ve seen the video frets about it. But from what I know HTC is generous enough to provide updates in the future so it will be running Android honeycomb. But still, it does hurts if you have to wait for a couple of weeks to get an update.
So far, HTC Flyer is not yet available in the Philippines but I guess it won’t take that long for it to arrive. iPad2 which was released last month is not open to Apple resellers so I think HTC would also release it same as Apple’s bread and butter. Let’s just hope that the pricing for HTC flyer is leveled competitively cause if it’s not then we all know who’s the popular choice.
