iSpy Software let’s you steal passwords
by Kyle on November 4, 2011
I was confused how the technology works but a closer look at the video gives me the idea that it’s like a super zoom technology. I was thinking of session hijacking or packet sniffing which I showed in How to hack a facebook account in a wifi zone but actually it goes the idea of shoulder surfing taken to a whole new level in a safe distance.
Samsung Galaxy Y good for first time android users
by Kyle on November 4, 2011
I’m not sure if I covered Samsung Galaxy Y on this blog and because of that I think I made a big mistake. One of my friends bought one and to my surprise Samsung Galaxy Y is really snappy. I always thought that Android Phones are laggy especially if they’re living below a 1ghz shell but the Galaxy Y is really surprising. I swiped the interfaces in the home page and it responds without slowing down. Very snappy for a 832mhz phone.
Asus UX21 Zenbook is definitely interesting
by Kyle on October 26, 2011
I’ve been blog hopping this days satisfying my gadget cravings and Asus UX21 has been my interest especially that I’m longing for a pretty cool ultraportable (not a tablet) that will replace my aging MSi u230. It’s been more than a year now yet I feel that it’s time to replace it. My good old MSi u230 feels archaic but it definitely served me well. My target of interest right now are those ultra thin netbooks, on that case it will be a Macbook Air or Asus Ux21 the Zenbook.
Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 announced
by Kyle on October 26, 2011
You’ll definitely agree with me that the two phones especially the Lumia 800 had the same aesthetics as the N9 and the only difference is that they’re running in different platforms. My HTC Mozart is not yet mangofied so I’m kinda envious, though Microsoft rolled the upgrade already I still need to apply some tricks to force update my OS. The bad thing is that doing force update is repetitive and time consuming, if you don’t have the patience, best shot to taste mango juice is to get the two phones instead.
Nintendo 3DS just got a Steering Wheel!
by Kyle on October 25, 2011
Feels weird in my opinion since what I imagined is how you gonna play when your 3ds is moving as you steer away from your opponents. I don’t know if the picture is just a concept but you’ll definitely know what I mean if you own a portable like a psp.
Dell Inspiron M102z in AmD E-450
by Kyle on October 25, 2011
After long weeks of being inactive technokyle is now back again and as an opener I welcome you all to Dell InspironM102z. I know I missed a lot of news to be shared because I’ve been busy prepping up my new anime and since it can now stand on it’s own, I can now balance my time between my techblog and anime blog.
Blackberry 9900, 9810, 9860 finally official
by Kyle on August 8, 2011
I’m optimistic that they’ll be landing in the Philippines before the year ends. Though I’m not able to cover their launching because of my busy schedule, it’s not too late before I put them here in my blog. My Blackberry phones list is too short to be called a list but this one will definitely help once they arrive. It probably needs some updating once I put them there since the price difference will definitely change.
Smart Bro Rocket HSPA+ dongle
by Kyle on August 8, 2011
If you’re not into globe’s 4G dongle (Lamborghini) since you’re a smart loyalist then you might be needing their rocket ship. Unlike globe’s promised speed of up to 10mbps they’re advertising it for up to 12mbps speed burst. Could be good if you’re looking for the extra 2mbps edge and the good coverage compared to the limited connectivity that Globe is offering.
Playstation Vita will be available next year in US and Europe
by Kyle on August 5, 2011
Too bad for the guys in US and Europe since the Vita will definitely be available early next year as Kazuo Hirai announced that it won’t be available for the said October launch. The reason for this was not stated but it could be associated for the recent hacks that happened and Japan’s earthquake/tsunami disaster.
Nokia Prepping up for a new Meego Device
by Kyle on August 5, 2011
Not yet released yet we’ve been hearing rumors of the Finnish company of plans releasing a new Meego Device. The N9′s (Nokia N9) hype is surely felt and this in fact made Nokia decide to do another iteration of the unreleased model. Good news for Meego fans and developer who’ve dedicated their time in completing the OS. It could be another good break for the underrated.
Huawei Vision kills the competition?
by Kyle on August 3, 2011
Huawei’s latest trophy is not just appealing but definitely cheap and powerful. I can’t believe that they’ll also deliver an aluminum unibody to Huawei Vision similar to HTC’s phone releases. Considering it’s chinese-made and the bad reputation it has to the public this smartphone packs muscle and decent power to run your favorite Android apps.
Amazon Tablets for October Release?
by Kyle on August 1, 2011
Remember those Coyote and Hollywood rumors? That Amazon may release a Tablet in future? I know, you may not remember it but today’s another follow up of another rumor saying that the controversial tablet that will beat Apple’s iPad will be released this October.
Nokia 500 announced!
by Kyle on August 1, 2011
I was hoping that Nokia 700 Zeta will be the first Nokia Phone running on 1ghz processor here in the Philippines but not until Nokia 500 takes over that title first. This glorified Nokia 500 seems to pack decent specs comparable to Nokia’s X7 but with better upgrades of course. So far, Nokia’s interest in releasing Symbian variants are not slowing down given the fact that they will be carrying WP7 Mango in the future. Pricing for Nokia 500 is not yet announced so interested buyers will still need to wait for the official press release.
Smart Always On – Internet bucket pricing that sucks
by Kyle on July 30, 2011
Smart did a great job introducing bucket pricing of mobile internet data on their latest promo – Always On <amount>. If you’re used to time-based pricing (unlisurf) then you might get confused on what bucket pricing means. Contrary to the one we’re used to, time-based pricing gives you the ability to access the internet from a given time range no matter how much data you’ve consumed, once you’ve consumed the timeframe then you’ll not be able to access the internet. Bucket pricing on the other hand revolves in a different way, you will be given a bandwidth limit like 250mb and you can access the internet as long as you would not reached the 250mb mark.
Playstation Vita – News and Update Page
by Kyle on July 30, 2011
Note: Playstation Vita News, Updates, Hacks, Tips and Goodies found at the bottom part of the article.
I just decided to make a dedicated update page of Playstation Vita. You’ll all find all the hot news, tips and tricks, hot upcoming games, feedbacks of Sony’s flagship handheld device. I’ll still be posting up several news and information in my blog but that will also be reflected here in the dedicated page. I’ve been feeling the anticipation of local Filipino gamers so I made a wiki-like page so playstation vita users can follow.
