It must be the MSi Ae2050 on why Acer have their AZ5761 which predates MSi’s latest desktop release in terms of computing power. MSi’s Ae2050 runs on AMD’s latest e350 APU while the AZ5761 clocks Sandy Bridge processors from Intel. Now you get the choice of Core i5-2400s, Core i5-2500s, or Core i7-2600s CPUs and up to a 1.5TB SATA II HDD which is clearly for the enthusiasts who doesn’t want slowpokes.

I’ve been remembering my desktop which I own in my hometown. Bringing back the memories of gaming and is a great help in finishing my thesis when I was in college. Perhaps I’ll get this one if I get a hold of those super ultraportables like the samsung series 9 or a macbook air which is perfect for tech bloggers who’s always on the go.

Acer Desktops by the way are selling really really great in my own opinion. Reason for this is that the general public doesn’t know much on how to assemble a PC, a fact that you can save a little cash if you’re smart enough on integrating hardware devices.

Anyway I’m gonna end this one with the price tag of $1305 (roughly 56,000 in Php) a better choice than macbook if you want more power and if you’ll enjoy a 23-inch screen. And lastly for the gamers you can pick one of the NVIDIA grapics card ( NVIDIA GeForce GT440, GT435M, or GT420 ) and it can support 8 players too since it has eight USB 2.0 ports. Availability will be on early May =).

Packed with Intel’s core i7 2630QM CPU and the latest ATI Mobility Radeon 6850 graphics (2gb dedicated memory) processor made it one of the high performing notebook in my list. Acer Aspire AS8950G also boasts a dual 750GB Sata Hard Drive (could reach 1.5TB storage)and an 18.4″ Screen perfect for Home Viewing and Gaming. Acer Aspire AS8950G maybe too bold for an average user but for enthusiast, it’s just the perfect machine that fits their needs. There’s no specific details for the price yet but it may amount for $1500 and will be available next week in the US.

This is quite unexpected since Acer is a pro when it comes to manufacturing good laptops but the fact that they release Acer “Liquid” made me realize that they can do more by selling Smartphones. Powered by Android(Donut) functioning in a touch screen 800×400 resolution and 5Mpix AF camera module with 3G and 3G+ compatibility are the key points of this hot stuff. But one thing that is truly inspiring with Acer Liquid is that it runs Qualcom Snapdragon™ processor and world’s first Android™ 1.6 high definition smartphone.

What this means is that this is definitely high performance machine running in a 1ghz-plus processors, Snapdragon powered devices are one one the highest end technology because it brings real-time ubiquitous communication,high-performance multimedia, location-aware content, internet browsing and productivity applications.

Running in a Snapdragon platform is just sweet and could be one of the iPhone killers in the making. iPhone processors is powered with speed 600mhz(rough estimate) which you can check by visiting this link. So what this means is that Acer liquid will definitely run much faster than your iPhone app and that would basically result to improve performance in watching pictures and videos. Acer Liquid provides instant access to web pages, smooth streaming of videos or music and instant response to popular mail maps and search applications. Since this buddy is android powered a choice of applications would not be a problem in the future. So what this guy needs are hands-on user experience for a user-review,perhaps the beginning of iPhones Downfall starts from this Acer Liquid brand. You can check for full product resource at acer page here

If you are one of the customers who purchased an Aspire Laptop which where manufactured before September 15 then you might be probably experiencing some overheat problems with your laptop. Affected units involve aspire series specifically AS3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG. Acer made a site to check if your laptop is one of the defective ones which you can check here. Here’s the voluntary safety recall from the said site.
