IDrive competes with Dropbox

Dropbox is probably the first company(if I’m not wrong) that brought online file syncing available to the public for free. Now another company competes with almost the same features as Dropbox. IDrive another online backup and file syncing service offers a free online storage and a file syncing service. The application is currently in beta but is fully working without known bugs as of this moment. If you’ll ask me on which of the services is better, I’ll vote for dropbox hands down. If you compare the free features of the two you can definitely see the difference. IDrive’s free account gives you a 2gb disk space which you can use in five computers while dropbox offers a huge 2gb storage with unlimited syncing to any PC which you can increase as of this moment if you have a decent referrals in your pocket.

IDrive’s Pro account is a definite winner. Pricing includes $5/month with unlimited storage while dropbox’s $10/month of only 50gb. Functionality wise dropbox customers are extremely happy using their unique file syncing. I haven’t tried IDrive yet but it seems that features are far competing if you’ll see a huge reviews in using dropbox’s features.Let’s just see what will happen to these two for the coming years, For sure IDrive’s features will improve in time.

Liftmagic a Cosmetic surgery simulator

Got this tool online called LiftMagic where you can perform a simulation of your picture from original one to a picture displaying cosmetic surgery results. At first visit there’s a sample photo of a girl but you can also upload your own picture and perform several treatments which you can select in the left sidebar.

Remember that this web application does not display accurate results so you shouldn’t rely to it too much. The results are pretty responsive and the list of treatments can be adjusted to varying intensity. If you’ll be adjusting the treatments in small variations you’ll be having some difficulty spotting some problems. The application also detects your face automatically but you can manually adjust it by dragging or resizing the white box. Results can be saved in your computer or can be forwarded in your email. Go try it yourself.

Waze is an application that you can download in your smartphone(iPhone and Android powered recommended) where you can track traffic reporting real time. The application is free to download so you won’t be needing some fees. Map and traffic updates are automatically collected and generated as users drive with waze activated, but drivers can also actively report and update other users with what’s happening on the road including accident alerts, police traps, weather hazards, cheap gas offers and more.
