Sadly I’m using my Linux OS (Ubuntu) in my netbook for personal and work reasons so I don’t have a detailed instructions on how to execute a hack. This Firefox extension is not that easy to use and a bit intimidating if you’re not technical enough about computers. Firesheep is designed to simulate how to pirate the packets over unsecure network. This kind of attack is also called HTTP Session hijacking which is very prone to WiFi networks here in the Philippines. Take note that it’s also applicable to all social networking accounts aside from Facebook.

Here’s a good example exercised in this youtube video on how to install and use firesheep to hack a Facebook account. So if you’re one of the users who loves connecting on public WiFi then you better think twice in accessing your social networking accounts. It’s better to have those mobile broadbands working on your laptops than risking yourself over free internet

Another good reason to love firefox for a great add-on that automatically opens your favorite sites in your FF browser. I’m sorry for chrome and internet explorer users but this is only exclusive for Mozilla’s Firefox. If you’re tired of doing thesame old thing, opening up your favorite sites, clicking the bookmark button then you definitely need this.

Schedule your sites to run by inputting specified date and time in which it will run. If you follow strict schedule and you’re always on time. Or just need some reminder to do an online work for your freelancing gig, then why not get this firefox addon which will do the trick. It’s called My weekly Browsing schedule . Here’s a cool screencast of Molly from Demo Girl for a very brief explanation and roundup of the tool.
