Microsoft recently showed the new layout of it’s MSN web portal. The redesigned versioned showed simplistic looks removing it’s primary blue color with white and multi-colored outlines. It’s now integrated with BING as it’s default search engine with the touch of Facebook and Twitter connections. You can take a look at the new preview of MSN here since it’s still not officially applied to the live one.

What’s really cool about the new layout is that it’s more organized with less clutter inside. You can easily navigate without getting lost since the layered menu works effectively to most individuals. Whatever the effect of this upcoming update, I believe that it will mostly be on the positive side. Although I’m not a MSN or Bing Fan the much appealing look and clever organization is a great step of Microsoft towards Bing’s popularization.

Microsoft’s Bing now has a mobile counterpart. Users can now experience simple functionality of a mobile search lite similar to bing which is optimized for smart phones. The interface looks really neat and is definitely perfect for small and big fingers for smart browsing. You can set up the search settings options for safe searching to easily filter sexually explicit text and images.

For some reasons the only devices that work with it are the iPhone/iPod Touch, T-Mobile G1, Samsung Omnia, Verizon Imagio and the Zune Hd. Support for other phones is still not available but are now in the process for porting in other devices. Take note that touch interface is only available to users in U.S.
