Votebox: Cast your votes to Dropbox’s new feature
by Kyle on November 13, 2009
Dropbox is one of the best web utility and backup software when it comes to saving your precious data and It’s also one of the reasons why it stays on the market until now. Last time I’ve posted a news about Google’s cutting of prices for extra storage options if you run out of space with your Gmail or Picasa account. With a $256/year ($21/month) value for 1Tb storage it’s a a huge bargain compared to Dropbox’s 100gb space for $19.99/month. But anyway Dropbox is still my favorite since I don’t need so much space and the desktop syncing application is what really makes Dropbox special. Dropbox now launched a site called Votebox in which users will cast their votes for a feature that dropbox team will implement.
You’ve been given a total of 6 vote points in which you can use to promote a feature. But you can also add a feature that you’d like to implement which is still not available in the list. Here are some of the Categories in which you can post your ideas
- Community Features
- Dropbox Desktop Application
- Dropbox Website
- Mobile Dropbox
- Payments and Billing
- Security and Privacy
- Sharing
- Syncing
- Others
You can login through Votebox through this link. If you’re a fan of Dropbox then don’t waste the 6 vote points in your account. Vote Wisely!
