Two new viruses are spreading in the internet by sending you a message in your email address using malicious Facebook addresses. Facebook warned the users about this stuff in their facebook page.
Watch out for two new viruses that are spreading across the web. They involve emails made to look like they are from Facebook telling you to take some action on your account. Remember that we will never send you a new password as an attachment.
Here’s an example of a malicious email sent to a facebook user.
Dear Facebook user,
In an effort to make your online experience safer and more enjoyable, Facebook will be implementing a new login system that will affect all Facebook users. These changes will offer new features and increased account security. Before you are able to use the new login system, you will be required to update your account. Click [here] to update your account online now.
If you have any questions, reference our New User Guide.
Thanks,
The Facebook Team
If you’re a facebook user, take some time to review the security policy and remember to never trust anyone if it involves your login details. Trusted sites do not ask for any login information for their site improvement and updates. I think facebook should fix some of the privacy settings in the user account.
